Clipper trailers

Two and three-axle trailers built by the group, to be coupled to a truck that is already fitted out.

The trailer

The Clipper trailer

The trailer produced by CBS is called Clipper: a self-supporting chassis in high-strength steel, with the container housed and locked inside the chassis.

—Superstructure on a sliding carriageStructural steel with guides and centring stops, on mountings with oversized bearings for the axial and radial loads.
—Perimeter centringThe centring elements align the container as it is set down, with no adjustment manoeuvres.
—ROR axles with disc brakesEBS braking system with roll stability, pre-arranged for the monitoring and weighing functions.
