History

From steel fabrication shop to material handler manufacturer

Officine Minelli was founded in the mid-twentieth century as a steel fabrication shop for the construction industry, and also built the sheds that would shortly afterwards house the company itself.

From steel structures the company moved to agricultural machinery, then to excavators, and finally to its first scrap handler. From that moment it has built a single family of machines, progressively widening its configurations: today the handler is sized on the material to be moved and on the manoeuvring space available.

Since 2026 Officine Minelli has been part of the Carnovali-CBS Group, bringing into the chain the machine that moves material before it is compacted.

Sustainability and governance

The ESG approach and the 231 organisational model

Officine Minelli combines ESG principles, environment, people and governance, with the organisation, management and control model required by Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001. The model and the code of ethics were adopted by the board of directors on 30 May 2025.

—EnvironmentProduct development is directed towards low-impact innovation. The range includes two electric models, M15E and M20E, powered by a battery pack and with no exhaust emissions.
—PeopleThe company states the wellbeing of its employees as an objective, within a sustainable and transparent management of the business.
—GovernanceThe 231 model defines areas at risk, the supervisory body and the disciplinary system. The code of ethics sets the rules of conduct for directors, employees and collaborators.
