The machine
The model from 38 to 42 tonnes
M40 is used in medium and large plants working on several shifts, to feed the mills and to handle scrap in large stockpiles.
The most widespread use is feeding mills and handling scrap in large stockpiles. The heavy-duty axles and the 3-metre HD undercarriage give the machine stability and strength, and it is powerful and fast thanks to the power pack and the hydraulic system. Suited to large yards and steelworks where large volumes of material have to be handled with no downtime, it also has low maintenance costs.
